Tax Manager
Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a financial services business based in the North West as they look to recruit a Tax Manager on an interim basis as the business enters a busy period of the year.
This role will support the Tax Director in managing Tax Operations and ensuring Tax regulations for business objectives
Key Responsibilities
- Lead corporate tax compliance and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate filings in accordance with local and international tax laws.
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective tax strategies that minimize tax liabilities and align with the company’s financial goals
- Manage relationships with tax authorities, external advisors, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee tax audits and ensure the business remains compliant with all regulatory requirements
- Stay current on changes to tax laws and provide guidance on their impact to the business.
- Prepare and review corporate tax provisions for financial statements in collaboration with the finance team
The successful candidate will be qualified CTA, ACA with a proven background across corporate Tax, experience in financial services would be beneficial but not essential. Strong Analytical skills and stakeholder management experience required.
Interim length – 6 months
Location – Liverpool
Hybrid – Would require someone to be in the office, however part time can be considered
Day rate – £600 pd (Outside of IR35)
