Commercial Financial Controller
Axon Moore are supporting an exciting and high growth manufacturing business in sourcing a high calibre, commercially focused Financial Controller to act as site number 1 alongside the MD. After making a number of acquisitions, our client are embarking on a signficiant growth journey of which you will be the driving the site forward alongside a well renowned MD. As Commercial Financial Controller, you will be taking ownership of delivering high quality MI to Group whilst supporting strategic decision making as well managing a small team. Please note, we will only consider those with a background in manufacturing at this stage.
Salary – £72,000 – £76,000 + 15% Bonus
Location – Macclesfield, 3 days per week on site
Main duties as Commercial Financial Controller
- Providing commercial analysis to the MD and Group to support strategic decisions
- Acting as true business partner to operations to drive growth and profitibility
- Being on the ‘shop floor’ close to production to improve efficiences
- Supporting company financial model and 5 year plan
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Presenting financial results to the wider business and stakeholders
- Developing the monthly board pack including variance analysis
- Strong market awareness to recognise external business opportunities
Person Specification
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience within manufacturing is a must
- Excellent people skills
- Strong business partnering skills
- Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
