I am looking for an experienced Customs Manager to join a global logistics organisation. 

Working with the Operations Manager and wider Network Team, this role will involve overseeing
and implementing my clients customs processes ensuring compliance at all times.

The role:

• Manage end to end import and export processes and customs entries
• Manage our customs integration provider
• Manage team of customs clerks, to be put in place as the business grows, to ensure smooth
• running of the customs processes
• Ensure compliance with all relevant import and export regulations
• Act as the main contact point for customs related matters for the business
• Design processes and build SOPs, circulate to the business and ensure they are being followed

Essential Skills:

• Expert knowledge of imports, exports, and trans-shipments
• Familiar with multiple customs systems
• Experience creating and discharging transit docs (T1 etc.) 
• Strong knowledge of customs processes and systems
• Proven track record of building and leading a team  Experience with bonded goods and bonded clearance
