Inteirm Financial Reporting Consultant
Axon Moore are representing a high growth, equity backed organisation in the Greater Manchester area who are looking for an Interim Financial Reporting Consultant to assist for a period or circa 3 months initially, possibly longer.
Following private equity investment the group is in a strong position to pursue its strategy of growing technology led business models both in the UK and internationally. The group currently has revenue of £350m and employs circa 5000 staff.
Duties:
- Management of the technical reporting team
- Training and development of other technical reports
- Completes annual review of direct reports
- Preparation of consolidated statutory accounts and review of subsidiaries accounts
- Preparation of technical accounting papers
- Ownership of consolidation entities in D365
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Ownership of corporation tax process and ixbrl tagging
- Transfer pricing
- Review of quarterly VAT return
- Research new and proposed accounting standards and determine impact on the group
- Acquisition accounting
- FCA reporting review
- EBITDA reconciliation – management EBITDA to stats
- Assist with corporate simplification process
- Ad hoc tax queries
Person specification
- Professional finance qualification
- Ideally from a practice background (not essential)
- Prior experience with statutory accounts
- Experience with corporation tax requirements
- Experience of consolidating multiple entities
- Professional interim
Outside IR35, immediate interview / start. Circa 12 months.
